Shopping around based on the 'feel' of the area's shops and businesses is the same way the wife and I chose our location towards the end of our house search once we had a pretty good lay of the land. If you travel Sunset east from the Galleria Mall there seem to be some nice little neighborhoods in that area although I don't actually know anyone who lives there. In Henderson for areas with the same sort of feel as Galleria I really like the area around Green Valley Parkway (near the Green Valley Casino) or, Green Valley Pkwy north of the 215 as LVOC said.Īlso, most of Eastern south of the 215 has a lot of good shopping/restaurants etc. So far as living there like LVOC said it's really not very walkable and traffic at some of the intersections can get busy depending on the time of day.
The area is fine I've been there night and day and never seen or heard of any problems. Hello, I work in the area and we travel to Galleria Mall daily to drop off packages to ship and to have lunch at the local restaurants.
